The Region of Durham and surrounding areas are under an extreme cold weather warning – such warnings are given out when an area is forecast for low temperatures of -15 degrees or lower. Today’s forecast is -17, feels like -28.

The聽Bowmanville Older Adult Association聽is OPEN today from 10 am to 5 pm for anyone in the community that requires a warming station please feel free to join us.

Our regular bi-monthly Open Mic will be hosted from 1 pm to 4 pm so please join in the fun with us. Entrance to this event is by donation and we will have hot drinks, snacks and a cash bar available.

In response to the Provincial Statement released on Wednesday April 7th 2021 regarding the Stay-at-Home Order, the Bowmanville Older Adult Association facility will be closed from Thursday April 8th at 1 pm to Monday May 10th at 9 am. Our office will remain CLOSED with all Drive-Thru Meal events and Footcare appointments cancelled.
The BOAA remains committed to continuing to provide safe and exceptional older adult programs and events to our members. We encourage all members to take advantage of our FREE activities via BOAA Without Walls Programming:

Deliveries will be provided by Team BOAA when required for those who have registered for the Virtual Tea Party, Virtual Soap Workshop & Virtual Book Club.
