We are proud to announce our newest partnership with the Clarington Photography Club – Life Through the Lens – A Series for Seniors and the Community”


Together with our community partners and the Clarington Photography Club, the Bowmanville Older Adult Association has planned PHOTO WALKS & TOURS! 👏👏

📅Thursday May 31st📅

• Is there a Roman house in Bowmanville? ​See a house where ladies were “Finished off” and one that protected “reputations”​
Dr. Ross Tilly grew up in this house and was awarded an O.B.E.

• Have you seen ​the ​real ​7​5​ year old log cabin downtown? ​This building was used as “Nazi Headquarters”? How did Lovers Lane get it’s name? A Russian car dealer lives here…Did our first PM have a sleep over here?

📅Thursday June 14th📅

• On a Bus: Veterans’ street, Camp 30, Battle of Bowmanville, secret Lambs’ road tunnels… and more!

• On Foot: Explore Soper and Bowmanville Creeks. Includes Visual Arts Centre of Clarington & Mill House, ​ Valleys 2000 – The Valleys of Bowmanville Fish ladder, ​a ​movie star’s home,​ ​ maybe​ ​​see a beaver,​ ​a flying fish or find a bullet!
