  • Post comments:0 Comments
On Wednesday September 7th from 9 am – 2 pm the BOAA will be hosting our Annual Open House & Seniors Information and Active Living Fair, in partnership withOACAOand sponsored byOntario Senior’s Secretariat.
We are looking forward to bringing the older adults of Clarington together for information, displays, vendor booths, BOAA program demonstrations, give-aways, complimentary transportation, refreshments, seminars and more! Last year we had close to 700 of our members and guests join us to sign up for new Fall Programs, renew their BOAA Memberships and visit the 50+ vendor booths in the auditorium. New this year, we will be offering seminars to those joining us for the day starting at 9 am until 2 pm with topics including: Travel Assistance Estate Planning, Bus Tours & River Cruises, For the Love of Music and much more!
We would like to offer different businesses and organizations the chance to register for the trade show and offer seminars that are relevant to older adults. As one of the key components of our Annual Open House and Seniors Information & Active Living Fair, seminars can be especially geared to BOAA members and guests as a significant audience to gain maximum promotion. If you are interested in becoming more involved in this event please contact Natalie Lynch or Chelsea Wolf at 905-697-2856 or volunteers@bowmanvilleolderadults.com. Spaces are first come first serve for the event, so please contact us for more information. Additionally, if you are interested in holding a seminar, please contact us for the registration forms.
