📣To Our Valued Members📣

In response to the Provincial Statement on Friday November 20th regarding The Regional Municipality of Durham entering the RED ZONE in the prevention of COVID-19, effective Monday November 23rd 2020 Bowmanville Older Adult Association will be cancelling all in-person activities, with the exception of our partnership Footcare Services with Foot Care Nurse – Foot Rejuvenation & Sole Renewal Footcare & Wellness.

This decision has been a difficult one, however, we must ensure we are following all recommendations received. The BOAA’s Re-Opening Task Force Committee, Board of Directors and Staff did not make this decision lightly.

Starting November 23rd 2020, the BOAA will have limited access available for members & guests. Our facility will remain open to assist with inquiries, drop-offs, renewals & drive-thru options from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Strict facility maximums and physical distancing will be enforced. Masks are required at all times, as well as a mandatory pre-screening survey with temperature check and waiver signature.

The BOAA remains committed to continuing to provide safe and exceptional older adult programming, services and events to our members. This includes increased drive-thru events and additional FREE in-town delivery options available. In order to keep our members, staff and volunteers safe, physical distancing and disinfecting strategies will remain our top priority and will be heightened in all points of contact.
