Wishing you a happy Family Day!
Bowmanville Older Adult Association would like to wish you and your loved ones a very happy Family Day! When we speak of the BOAA family, we also naturally think of our extended family, our valued members, volunteers, community partners, instructors, sponsors and more!
Staying connected is important in any family, and as a member of the BOAA, members can stay connected by sharing stories and memorable moments together at the Beech Centre, while also keeping up to date on the latest upcoming events and fundraiser, programs, activities, offers, as well as local news throughout the Municipality of Clarington. Members can also can also stay connected with our BOAA family through our Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as our Instagram and Youtube Accounts.
As a BOAA member, you also have the opportunity to inspire others with your story, as well as connect with new and experienced members!
At BOAA, we know that spending time together as a family doing fun activities also helps to strengthen bonds. If you are looking for some fun activities or ideas that the whole family can enjoy together this Family Day Weekend, we have listed a few ideas below of events in the Clarington area:
Enjoy some winter fun such as ice skating or shinny atGarnet B Rickard ComplexorSouth Courtice Arena,sledding, or building a snow fort and wrapping up your outdoor activities with a hot chocolate!

Pop some popcorn, pick your favourite board games, and have a fun family game night!

📣To Our Valued Members📣

In response to the Provincial Statement on Monday December 21st regarding a provincial wide lockdown, effective Saturday December 26th 2020 the Bowmanville Older Adult Association will be closing for any in-person inquiries and purchases.

We encourage you to please join us for continued BOAA fun with our virtual and over-the-phone programs and events starting officially Monday January 4th 2021.

The BOAA remains committed to continuing to provide safe and exceptional older adult programs and events to our members. We encourage BOAA members access our FREE activities via BOAA Without Walls:

☑️Delivery Services
☑️Care Calls

Future details regarding drive-thru events and footcare services will be communicated when available. We will have curbside pick-ups for program materials, books, puzzles and more during our office hours Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm to assist our members.

We truly appreciate the support you have offered us during these troubling times and we ask that you continue to make informed decisions while making sure you are always looking out for the health and safety of yourself.
