Remembrance Day with the BOAA – “We will remember them”

  • Post comments:0 Comments

The Bowmanville Older Adult Association encourages everyone to reflect and remember all members & families of the defense community on this November 11th and everyday. Remembrance Day represents a time for Canadians across the country to honour our fallen soldiers, those who serve in our Canadian Armed Forces today, pay tribute to our veterans, & their families.

We give thanks for brave citizens that have served our nation and continue to do so today in our Canadian Armed Forces. We give thanks for those who selflessly laid down their lives to protect and defend our freedom. We recognize that wearing a Poppy isn’t about supporting war – it’s about giving thanks.

Let us not forget the great sacrifice that all of our war veterans have made. Let us carry on the legacy they left behind. And most of all… always remember ❤️
