About The Bowmanville Older Adult Association

Welcome to the official website for The Bowmanville Older Adult Association, formerly known as the the Clarington Older Adult Centre Board. The Bowmanville Older Adult Association is a new, federally incorporated non-profit organization that offers social, active and educational programs to older adults in Clarington.

Accessible – to create an organization that is inclusive and affordable; we will identify and address potential barriers, and create opportunities for members, potential members, and guests.

Caring – to be known as a friendly and welcoming organization where members, guests and visitors can feel safe, respected and welcome.

Fiscally Responsible – to efficiently operate and achieve our goals in a manner that is both financially prudent and accountable to our members and partners.

📣To Our Valued Members📣
 
In response to the Provincial Statement released on Wednesday April 7th 2021 regarding the Stay-at-Home Order, the Bowmanville Older Adult Association facility will be closed from Thursday April 8th at 1 pm to Monday May 10th at 9 am. Our office will remain CLOSED with all Drive-Thru Meal events and Footcare appointments cancelled.
 
The BOAA remains committed to continuing to provide safe and exceptional older adult programs and events to our members. We encourage all members to take advantage of our FREE activities via BOAA Without Walls Programming:

Deliveries will be provided by Team BOAA when required for those who have registered for the Virtual Tea Party, Virtual Soap Workshop & Virtual Book Club.
 
We truly appreciate the support you have offered us during these troubling times and we ask that you continue to make informed decisions while making sure you are always looking out for your health and safety.
